how to give permissions for a particular user in ftp.

Hi

If you use vsftpd, you can edit the file in /etc/ftpusers (or something like this) you can give permissions to particular user.

Hi,

We cannot give permission to particular user who could transfer files through FTP. You might probably want to place files available for external world in a secured path of folder.

Hi,

You can't give permission to ftp users but you can deny and allow the users through /etc/vsftpd/ftpusers list and u can able to control the accessing.
