hi all,
can i give permission to perticuler user in ftp.
ex: i have user called sam and abc. i have to give only read permission to abc when he connects through ftp . can i...?

Shalom,

Assuming the users are NOT in a chroot jail.

Put the users in a common group.

chgrp g+w homedirectory_name
