gftp on RHAS4U4 ia64?
Hi folks,
Just wondering if anyone out there has tried to use (or is using?) gftp on RHAS4U4 on ia64 Itanium?
I have access to the Red Hat Network but I couldn't find a link to submit a bug to the bug tracker.
Since the source of gftp has not changed for a while I guess that just recompiling might not help because maybe something needs to be fixed for the code as compiled on Itanium to make it work correctly. I don't understand how it could be included in the distribution in its current state. To me it looks like it was not tested very well. No updates have been made available so far.
Please try to refrain from theoretical suggestions, I don't have time to try out this that and the other which "might or might not work".
Thanks for any helpful information, Christian

Re: gftp on RHAS4U4 ia64?
Have you tried to submit a bug via redhat bugzilla - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/index.cgi ?
