Global file system

Hi all, I currently have RHEL 4.2 installed on my system. I need to start working with GFS. Whre and how do I install GFS. I tried doing a RPM against it but wasn't sucessful.

Any idea on how this gets installed?

Re: Global file system

Starting with RHEL 4, you need Red Hat Cluster Suite to be able to use GFS.

All the details you need you will find it here:

Re: Global file system

Shalom Sanjit,

You have to purchase the right to download GFS.

With that comes the rights to the rest of the cluster suite.

Copy the rpms for GFS and the rest of the suite to a single directory.

call it /tmp/install

cd /tmp/install
rpm -ivH *.rpm

If you get a dependency requirement, fulfill it.
