hardware recognize

I have pluged the and controller card and autoloader to the RH server , but I found that the server recognize it as a wrong model , so I would like to re-do the recognize , except unplug the hardware , how can I remove the record in the server , and then re-do the recognize ?

1. Remove the unwanted module from the system using

# modprobe -r

or

# rmmod

2. Load the device module using command

# insmod

or

# modprobe
