i 've a problem on HBA installation on RHLE4 U5, am using MSA support CD when I installed the qla2xxx by ./INSTALL -f on the first time gave me gcc failure but already I was install it but its gave me also that message failure (can't find /lib/modules/2.6.9-55.ELsmp/build) , Please help me about this message what does it mean exactly and what can i do.

taht problem on the linux installation or on the linux CD's i think that must be installed by default when the linux installation running , idont think i add all these by self
Note:
Do you think if i changed RHEL4 and i do anew installation i faced these problem again.

There are good drivers in the PSP version 8 install for Red Hat on HP's website. That will get you around this.

I wont to inform you about what's the problem exactly:
i 've 4 servers DL380 G5 , two san switches and MSA1000 , each server i installed 2 HBA's PCI-E , and already now i installed the HBA driver from the MSA support CD and its done ,the issue now when i do restart the server its hang (almost about 3 hours)and then open ,but when i unblug one of the fiber cable from the switch its go directly to open .
for me i think the problem on the HBA installation its can't find the correct path to complete the circuilized
