Hi,
We've just bought a DL385 G2 which I need to install RedHat on.
I've created a locigal disk using the ACU from the Smart Start CD, but when I come to install RedHat it asks for drivers for the disks. The only thing I can find on the HP website for the array (Smart Array 400) is an rpm. I've got a USB drive but no floppy.
Can anyone give me some advice on how to proceed? I think I need to find some drivers in a different format but I'm not sure, and I'm not sure how I'm going to get them on there.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Help! DL385 G2 Array Controller install RedHat AMD 64
The "software and drivers" page for the DL385 G2 at
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locate/1117_6272.html has both "HP ProLiant Smart Array Controller (AMD64/EM64T) Driver for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 (AMD64/EM64T)" under the "Driver - Storage Controller" section and a "Driver Diskette for HP ProLiant Smart Array Controller (AMD64/EM64T) for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 (AMD64/EM64T)" under the "Software - Driver Diskettes" section.

Solution
You may also want to grab an updated version of your RHEL version. The cciss driver in the lasted Update version of EL 3 and EL 4 should support the DL385 g2 out of the box. EL 3 is up to update 8 at least and EL 4 is at update 4.

Re: Help! DL385 G2 Array Controller install RedHat AMD 64
Thanks guys,
I downloaded EL4 Update 4 from the Red Hat site and it did the trick.
Thanks for the advice.
