How can I create a file System in SUSE
Hello,
Anybody know how can I create a file system in SUSE Linux, I have a Vdisk in a MSA of 13.9TB and my client needs a volume of 12 TB, the server is direct attach to both controllers of the MSA, so I don´t know if I need something like MPIO and I don't know how build a file system with this OS.

Re: How can I create a file System in SUSE
Hi Pakito,
If you see more than one path for the LUN, you should use MPIO.
Once this is setup you will see 2 or more paths to the LUN and 1 meta-device that you will use to create the FS.

Re: How can I create a file System in SUSE
Which MSA model (to see if SAS/FC/iSCSI)?
Which server model?
Which cards in the server that are connected to the MSA?
SUSE Linux version?
