how to use diskdruid with new disk
I had to replace the primary disk on a ProLiant DL380. I inserted the RH media to configure the partitions on c0d0 and it only detects c0d1. Do I have to do something in the BIOS so it recognizes the new c0d0?

Re: how to use diskdruid with new disk
c0dX sounds like a disk attached to a raid controller.
It seems that you need to use the array configuration utility to configure the new disk as JBOD.

Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

Re: how to use diskdruid with new disk
Well I tried with HP Smart CD. The array configuration utility will not let me add a new disk. Status Message:
Current array controller has a failed logical drive. Logical drive 1 (RAID 0 in Array A) has failed and cannot be created......
It recognizes the 2nd disk, c0d1.
So how do I initialize the new disk c0t0 using the array configuration utility, without wiping out my 2nd disk?

Re: how to use diskdruid with new disk
Do you have an array "b?" From what you have described you have two physical disks but they are not part of a mirrored RAID set correct? If not please list how your RAID card is configured.
