Re: how to verify HP-ILO connectivity
By default, iLO2 uses DHCP... and your cross-over cable obviously does not include a DHCP server. You should have set up a static IP address to the iLO2 *and* to the regular NIC interface at the other end of the cable. But are those parameters set correctly?
You should use a different IP segments for your cross-over cable connection and your regular production network. Otherwise the IP routing code in the OS gets very confused.
Some Proliant server models can optionally "splice" the iLO connection to the regular integrated NIC in the hardware level. If this option has been enabled, the dedicated iLO connector may be inactive.

Re: how to verify HP-ILO connectivity
IP-Address-ILO = 192.168.1.1/24
IP-Address-NIC = 10.10.11.50/16
And now i changed it from cross-over to straight cable, HP-ILO connection to switch.
There are Four DL-580 servers all have same problem.
Is there any pin configuration for HP-ILO.
thanks
