HP Proliant support package error

I am trying to install PSP ver 7.8 on RedHat5.
While trying to install this package I receive the following error:
./hpplduioss: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
in order to avoid this error I used the /nui option to run it in terminal mode.
When running this with nui option I get the following error:
*** glibc detected *** ./hpplduparserss: free(): invalid next size (normal): 0x081f0e50 ***

In both options for some reason I am getting the following error at the begining of the run - not sure if it has any impact on the actual results:./install780.sh: line 329: [: `)' expected, found -z
