HP-snmp-agents e-mail
I've installed HPASM (hp-health and hp-snmp-agents) on a Proliant DL380 G5 running Redhat Linux 4. I've been getting e-mails with subject line "HP Agent Trap Alert". I checked /opt/compaq/cma.conf and /opt/hp/hp-snmp-agents/cma.conf. Both of those config files have subject line "HP Insight Management Agents Trap Alarm".
Currently I have 1 failed disk on the host. Every time I restart hp-snmp-agents service I'm getting 4 e-mails, 2 with subject line "HP agent Trap Alert" and 2 with subject line "HP Insight Management Agents Trap Alarm".
Anyone has any idea where this e-mail with subject line "HP Agent Trap Alert" coming from?

Re: HP-snmp-agents e-mail
Shalom,
The subject is either in the binary or in a script file.
I'd bet on the binary in this case.
You can increase the log level of sendmail to find out more information on this.

Re: HP-snmp-agents e-mail
I believe it is coming from a configuration file. As I mentioned above, I see this subject line in /opt/compaq/cma.conf file "trapemail /bin/mail -s 'timetips4-lm15 HP Insight Management Agents Trap Alarm' root". But none of the config file has subject line "Hp Agent Trap Alert"
