hpasm, web interface shows status "unknown"

I'm evaluating the hpasm product for monitoring our DL360 and DL38 RHEL3.0 machines. I've installed it on a couple of machines, and in some cases the web management interface shows everything as "unknown", whereas other cases all is shown as I would expect.

Sometimes an uninstall and a reinstall makes it work.

I run through the same configuration settings with "hpasm activate" every time, it just seems to be hit and miss.

Even when the web interface isn't showing the correct details, hplog -f etc still work so the agents are doing their job. I suspect it's something to do with the SNMP side since I understand the web interface simply queries the SNMP MIB on the localhost?

Anyone know what may cause this problem?
