Shalom Dan,

As of this writing, HP has not ported Ignite to any flavor of Linux. Please contact your HP rep if you'd like them to do this. The customer is what matters to HP and they do listen.

There are alternative products:
http://www.acronis.com - Licensed
http://www.mondorescue.org - Free

I am part of an evaluation project for acronis and we use mondorescue regularly.

Other products such as Norton Ghost require you to boot the server to get an image. That was unacceptable to NDS Israel.

both the above links can create images from a cron job to NFS storage or CD. They also can do CD images.

Acronis is fast, I mean an order of magnitude faster than anything we've seen.

Let me know if I can assist further.

SEP,

Is there a Mondo Rescue version for SLES 9.0?

Do a google for SystemImager or Linux Enablement Kit.
