iLO2 access to SLES 10 SP 2, kdump kernel timeout on USB
We have DL580 G5 servers running SLES 10 SP2, latest kernel being accessed via iLO2, latest firmware.
When we either trigger the kdump kernel for testing via iLO2 access, the kdump kernel times out at USB driver load stage. When same server is accessed locally with a crash-cart console, the kdump kernel starts and runs.
Any chance a SLES QA can confirm behavior/offer workaround ? We need to have iLO2 access to kdump for debugging/emergencies.
