insight manager

I have installed health drivers on debian machine and can monitor disks temp. etc. in proc the status of fan is VAR which i guess is variable speed. Is it possible to adjust the speed of the fan from the operating system itself ? How ?

all you can do with HP drivers is in the docs you downloaded within the proliant support pack. You can do a search in the .pdf

Did you install hpasm on Debian?
Was it difficult or straightforward?
