Hi all,
We are planning to install RH Advanced server 2.1 on GL380 G4 server.
We couldnt find out the driver image disk for Smart array 6i controller.
We are getting error while install that Invalid device found while detecting it for disk partitions.
Most critical..
Please help.
Regards
Jay

Re: install Linux in Dl 380 G4
There is a disk preparation cd that comes with the server.
You boot the server off this cd and prepare the onboard disk for OS install.
I know this server is supported by Linux AS 2.1
After preparing the internal disks, boot off the first Linux CD and begin the installation.
