installation powerpath linux fails
Hi there,
trying to install powerpath (4.3.0) on a ibm x345 with RHAS3.0
Situation now
[root@svlirc13 /]# fdisk -l
Disk /dev/sda: 36.4 GB, 36401315840 bytes
254 heads, 63 sectors/track, 4442 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16002 * 512 = 8193024 bytes
Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1 * 1 13 103981+ 83 Linux
/dev/sda2 14 268 2040255 82 Linux swap
/dev/sda3 269 4442 33396174 8e Linux LVM
when I try to install powerpath :
/etc/init.d/naviagent stop --> ok
[root@svlirc13 2.4.21-20.EL]# lsmod lpfc
lpfc 248496 0
vi /etc/modules.conf --> add :
"options scsi_mod max_scsi_luns=256 scsi_allow_ghost_devices=1"
rpm -iv EMCpower.LINUX-4.3.0-166.rpm
Please close open logical volume devices, then try request again.. ??????????
