Installing Linux AS 2.1 on Itanium Rx4610
Hi,
Can i install AS 2.1 server on an rx4610 itanium server. Is it supported ?
IF it is where are the install docs. or any docs to use for reference during installation ?

Hi Eddie,
The Itanium Processor is different from what comes in a standard Intel Server. You need a version certified for Itanium.
The Red Hat Website does cover this issue.

I am using HP Itanium rx5670 server with Redhat AS 2.1 for Itanium server installed. I think you can buy it from Redhat or HP.
