Installing new storage controller drivers in RHEL 5.1

About a year ago, I installed RHEL 5.1 on a DL380 with a p400 and a p800 storage controller. The p800 connects to a msa70 with 6 disks devoted to three different arrays.

During the process, I neglected to install the correct HP driver for the two storage controllers. I'd like to install it now, are there any risks to the current configuration of the arrays?

The server is remote now (in another country) and I'm trying to decide if I should wait until I'm on site to perform the upgrade.

If I were you I would wait until you're on site. You never know what can go wrong.
If you are on site break the mirror (if you have the OS in RAID1) to avoid problems.
