Installing RedHat 6.0

Hie guys , i am trying to install RedHat Linux on my P11 266 Mhz machine, 32MB Ram ...
When i try to install its giving me raid0.5 module already exits , stops the install and ejects the CDROM. I am using a cdrom i copied from an original.

maybe you should try and make the boot floppies and see if that works? I would also strongly suggest that you use red hat 6.2 over 6.0. Redhat's x.0 releases are often not as stable as the x.1 and x.2 releases and the 6 series is no exception

Try with original CD or RedHat 7.0.

I have to concur with the first reply. Definately use a boot floppy and if at all possible stay away from 6.0. Or better yet go with Free BSD 4.0 OR 4.2, ooops sorry!!!!!

Hi,

Try "linux expert" at the install prompt.

If it doesn't help, create boot floppies from the cdrom.

Better is to get the latest ver.
