Hi,
Please let me know why my server does'nt use the swap space allocated to it and it uses the total mem. This causes the server to slow down when I login the prompt does'nt appears soon
EG:
# free -tm
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 1000 924 76 0 136 79
-/+ buffers/cache: 708 292
Swap: 2055 0 2055
Total: 3056 924 2131
#
How can i solve this issue ?
When i execute the TOP cmd the session gets hang up and even when i ty to open a file.
Please post ur replies
Thanks
Haris
