Does your CD provide support for Integrity servers or just x86?

None of this provides a useful description of
anything.
Where did you get this "Linux OS cd"? What's
on it? Does it support Itanium hardware?
Which "HP itanum servre(64 bit)"? What are
you using as your console terminal?
What did you do? What happened when you did
it? What does "its not detecting" mean? As
usual, actual commands with their actual
output can be more helpful than vague
descriptions.

						Shalom,
IA64 Itanium servers have an EFI interface.
That needs to be configured to permit booting from a DVD.
