KDE dcopserver problem
When i reboot my RedHat Advanced server 2.1 machine iam getting the following error while starting the KDE.
There was some error setting up inter-process
communication for KDE. The message returned by the system was:
Could not read network connection list.
Please check that the "dcopserver" program is running!
Kindly help on the same.
Thanks
S.Jagadesh

Re: KDE dcopserver problem
I would suggest deleting all kde related files in /tmp for your user and restarting.
If this doesn't work, just as a test, try mv your .kde to .kde.prev in your home directory and restarting. You will lose all your configuration but it helps point in the right direction.

Never preceed any demonstration with anything more predictive than "watch this"
