i have configure ML370 with ldap server for network as PDC.but i can not join the windows client to domain using my ldap server password or smb password. I created a smb password for root and administator but yet still i can not join client to the domain. when i used the ldap password parimeter in correct.when i used smb password error bad user name and bad password

I'm having a lot of dificulty to understand your environment and your needs.

What is the linux distro you are using ?
I think you have installed samba with support of ldap, I'm right ?
What is the samba version ?
What are the windows clients versions (95, 98, 2000, xp) ?
Do you know about encripted password in windows/samba environment ?
Did you read some documentations about all that stuff ?

I'll wait for more informations to try help you.
