LINUX AS 4.0 Tape Drive Driver
Hi Forum,
I need to install an external
HP StorageWorks Ultrium 230 Tape Drive on my newly setup LINUX AS 4.0 Updates 2 OS.
From the website,it shows that the tape drive is supported on LINUX AS 4.0
http://h10018.www1.hp.com/wwsolutions/linux/products/storage/backupsolutions.html
I tried to download the driver but unfortuately it stops at Red Hat Linux 9.
Query: Can anyone advise? If I just connect and reboot it will it auto detect?
Thanks/cliff

Re: LINUX AS 4.0 Tape Drive Driver
Sir,
It only stops at RedHat Linux 9.0 for the driver download.
Query: Will it be no driver will be needed bundle with the AS 4.0 Updates 2. Only just need to connect n reboot it and it will be auto detected for the tape drive?
Thanks/cliff

Re: LINUX AS 4.0 Tape Drive Driver
The native driver should work for this device...
