Re: Linux FTP
What is the connecting speed when you are connecting to GWNNET ?. Compare it with other
ISP . If the speed is very less in GWNNET , then your slow internet connection can be the
problem. How is web browsing speed in GWNNET
when compared to others ?. I think this is ftp
issue is because of slow connection.

Re: Linux FTP
Good point. Magix line (512K) is able to connect, which we are using last time and the GWNNET is (192k), you are right. But how come I am able to connect by using normal dial-up connection (64k) ? What you think ?

Re: Linux FTP
If you are able to connect through dial-up , then which ISP you are connecting.
Different customers of different speeds of an
ISP with have different routing paths.
When you connect thru dialup to a ftp server can you download any file ?.
Also Are you using a shared 192k connection ?.
check with that ISP.

Re: Linux FTP
We have to use our new ISP (gwnnet 192k) which one giving problem for FTP. Its not sharing. We are using dial up connection only for FTP at this moment because the GWNNET is not able do the same. This dial up connection is able to do FTP.
