Linux MIBs
Good evening all,
I installed RPM Package (ucd-snmp) on ReHat Linux. Also, snmpd service is started.
I only get the information of system description by using NNM. However, I cannot collect interface utilization information.
How can I get MIBs for monitoring the interface utilization of RedHat Linux?
Also, how can I check the name of SNMP agent I am using? Thanks in advance. :)

Re: Linux MIBs
Hello,
All of you snmpd configuration is located in /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf. You have to modify the configuration for it it work correctly.
Good luck

Re: Linux MIBs
Hi,
use snmpwalk:
snmpwalk interfaces
That will show you the interfaces MIBs -> counters, ticks, etc.
do a 'man snmp.conf' for infos about how to set up snmp.

Re: Linux MIBs
Thank you all,
I can get standard MIBs for monitoring Linux's interface after installing ucd-snmp RPM package.
I would like to find a site that provides Linux MIBs. Any idea or suggestion?
Go ahead :)
