Re: Linux on HP-PA RISC

http://www.debian.org/ has a linux distribution for pa-risc machines. You can get it from http://parisc-linux.org/

Re: Linux on HP-PA RISC

I don't know how many other people out there tried the parisclinux - but we couldn't get it to run on an HP Apollo workstation Model 715/75. Although I must admit we didn't spend much time trying either.

Re: Linux on HP-PA RISC

I have successfully installed debian on a HP 9000 E55 and a C240.

Works wonderfully. If you have a spare PA-RISC system, definitely give it a try.

Re: Linux on HP-PA RISC

Hi,

I am as well looking for some feedback and pointers for running Linux on HP 9000/800 N 4000 Class and HP 9000 L-Class servers.

Thanks in advance
Parag
