Linux running on an NetServer E50 w/ide drives
I am trying to get a NetServer E50 to boot with linux redhat 7.0. I have two ide drives on the system. I am not sure if I have removed all plug and play issue from the bios. I can see the drives durring installation. However, when I try to boot the system from the hard disks, it seems to hang with an "L" in the upper left corner. I am thinking something is missconfigured in bios. Any help please.

Re: Linux running on an NetServer E50 w/ide drives
I did some looking on google and and I found this link...
http://sdb.suse.de/sdb/en/html/kgw_lilo_errmsg.html
It states that if you only get the first L it indicates some sortof media or geometry mismatch error.
Hope that helps.
