Live CD
Please suggest simple way to have linux on CD.
i have Kernel and root file system files which needs to be put on a CD. i should be able to boot from the CD and then i want to run some customized scripts.

Ubunto lets you boot off a live cd before deciding whether or not to install.
sysrescuecd is one of the best.
knoppix has a very good on.
Centos has a good one two.
Pick your distribution they all have one. CD's after boot are not writeable so you will need to edit and run your scripts on disk which is writable after a livecd boot.

Thanks you Yvan for your links, got me to reading this and that prodfed to be time well spend.
Follow Yvan link if what you want is to create your own Redhat/Fedora live CD great stuff.
