make_recovery equivalent

Hi guys,
is there any make_recovery equivalent in Linux? What I want is to backup the system into bootable tape.

Thank you,
EF

No equivalent. Do take the time to contact HP and ask them to port Ignite, they listen to customers.

Re: make_recovery equivalent

I use mondo which gives me problems with the boot loader.

A better product, although its not free, is called Acronis.

Works for Linux,SCO and Windows.
This is the first OS recovery tool that has ever worked for windows. I use it for Linux also. High recovery rate with no errors.
UNIX IS GOOD
