						Hi all,
My server HP Proliant DL 580 Server is not showing the installled total memory properly.
free -m command is showing 8GB less memory in the server.
But thoruogh ILO utility it is showing the proper amount of memory.
But cat /proc/memoinfo command and free -m command are showing 8GB less memory.
My OS is Linux 2.6.18-92.1.18.el5 .
Expecting a reply

How much memory do you have (according to iLO)?
If it's more than 64 GB, are you running a 32-bit version of RHEL/CentOS 5?
(Please show the output of the "uname -a" command.)
A 32-bit OS must use the PAE extension to use any memory above 4 GB. PAE is not as efficient as using true 64-bit addressing: 64 GB is the technical upper limit of PAE, but it is recommended to use a 64-bit OS if you have more than 16 GB of memory.
