Memory Upgrade on BL460c with RHEL5 OS
I upgraded my Blade server BL460c memory from 32GB to 96Gb. At hardware level, meaning at the BIOS and the Onboard Administrator level, the 96GB are detected alright, but not at the RHEL5 level. The Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.4 OS can detect only the 32GB.
I am using the 64 bits type of RHEL5.
Please help ! What should I do for my OS to see the 96GB ?
Best Regards

Re: Memory Upgrade on BL460c with RHEL5 OS
Hello Yaboto,
As per Redhat documentation RHEL5 64bit Should support 256GB/1TB memory
Refer:
http://www.redhat.com/rhel/compare/
Ensure that you are using the 64bit operating system. and what is the kernel version you are using.
