monitor hdd utilisation

Hello!

I would like to monitor my hdd utilisation. Does anybody know how I can get the actually traffic for my hdd mybe ever 5 Min.

Install the sysstat package and use sar to monitor the disks.

sar -d interval count

You can also monitor disk usage with iostat.

iostat interval count
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

vmstat 5 100

100 intervals of 5 seconds.

sysstat is a better option.
