Which means what, exactly?

Did you actually mount something?

mount
cat /etc/fstab

As usual, it might help to see some actual
commands with their actual output, instead of
vague descriptions and interpretations.

Hi,

Check vi/etc/fstab file.

Re: Mount point not displaying?

still u see that raw disk?

type the command "lvs" and check the name which u have given lvname

type uptime and see, server is up since when.

Did u rebooted without making an entry in /etc/fstab?

if not try mount it in /tmp as mentioned in /etc/fstab

Re: Mount point not displaying?

df -k not show /u01, it means /u01 is not mounted.
