Nagios Config File
Hello, does anyone have a working nagios file that I can look at. I have seen a lot of samples but not a working config file. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Nagios Config File
Well, nagios config files are actually ~10. You need:
- main nagios file, nagios.cfg
- contacts.cfg and contactgroups.cfg
- hostgroups.cfg and hosts.cfg
- checksommands.cfg and services.cfg
- timeperiods.cfg
- dependencies.cfg, escalations.cfg
- misccommands.cfg
I started by installing nagios with default (it has quite good default), and adding 1 contact and 1 host. That should work.
Do you need more information? Or are you referring to a specific file among these?

Re: Nagios Config File
Actually I wanted to see the config file for all. BUt for now, I am just going to make one host and go from there. Thanks for your response. POints are assigned.
