nat-pt
Hi all,
does anyone know, how to build up an nat-pt protocol-conversion router between v4-lan and v6-lan. i tried it out by using suse 8.0 (my producive-szenario). No succes.
Afterwards i used rh 7.2, the descrition i have found in the web sites, is mainly based on rh and bsd.
During the compilation of nat-pt.c i have got
errors concerning links of serveral sub-tasks.
Therefore i checked all de-wrapped files comparing the descrition of the web installation guides. All files were extracted and complete.
Additional i have to mention that the kernel was patched for the use of iptables, ip_forward and i have built up both lan connections (one v4 an the other v6) on one station bind9 was installed.
Now i trying to use bsd 4.8. If someone could help me - to install nat-pt i would be happy to help my first administrator- who have to fixe this by building up to an complex security szenario.
Please give me links or description how to install nat-pt in a fuctional way and based on your own experience.
Thanks a lot for your answers
