Re: Need Info on RHEL3-UpdateX
Shalom asifayaz,
https://rhn.redhat.com/network/software/packages/details.pxt?pid=341400
That is 2.4.21.40 It is the latest supported kernel.
RHN access is required to obtain it.
I work with a lot of Linux systems and believe that kernel is part of Update 2 or update 3.

Re: Need Info on RHEL3-UpdateX
Shalom Too Steve,
Thanks, I got the url Somehow..
https://rhn.redhat.com/errata/RHBA-2004-550.html
This Answers my first part of the question that I can install the OS without a need for a Smart Array Driver CD/floppy.
But my Client wants to customise the RHEL3 U4 in to a single CD.
The changes are ..
1. want to have a minimal RPMS in
/Redhat/RPMS
2. Change a variable 'SOMAXCON' in the Make file and compile the kernel which should be IN the ISO cd.
Can some one help on this.
Thanks
