net0 interface
Hi All,
#ifconfig net0
Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:00:02:01:02:09
inet6 addr: fe80::200:2ff:fe01:209/64 Scope:Link
UP BROADCAST RUNNING SLAVE MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:1810 errors:0 dropped:6879 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:311 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
RX bytes:111654 (109.0 KiB) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b)
#ethtool net0
net0 does not appear to be an ethernet device
Why it's not eth device? how can i change net0 duplex and speed setting?
Thanks & regards,
MKS

Re: net0 interface
If the interface's name is "net0", are you sure you're on a Linux machine? It looks more like SCO Unixware, not Linux.
What does "uname -a" say?
What kind of hardware is it? (If the "dmidecode" command is available, examine its output to find information about the manufacturer and model.)

Re: net0 interface
Notice that it shows as SLAVE, so probably you have a bonding configuration. Run a ifconfig -a and copy output here.
