network faxing

We have a rightfax server which you can use Windows based PC to fax from desktop.
Does anybody know how to have HPUX server fax directly to it?

Hi,

I don't know anything about the rightfax server. However if it is based on e-mail infrastructure, you can configure HP-UX's sendmail daemon to be able to email directly to the fax. In this case, I would suggest you take care of the format of the document to be faxed. On Unix, there is one standard for interoperability : Postscript ! Therefore, download ghostscript (gs) from :

http://devresource.hp.com/tools/openSourceList.html

This will help you convert your documents to Postscript before sending them by fax.
