Re: New King of Linux

SEP,

I should have known that you would be celebrating something like this soon. I just never knew if it would be the crown here or the overall Salad Hat first.

Many congrats from me to you. Your dedication to the Linux forums has helped to bring this particular part of the forums from an unknown to something to be respected. It used to be that one would show up here and see very few points assigned and even fewer 'Bunnies' in the overall (general) view. Now it seems as if the magic rabbits are popping up all over the place!

Nice work!

Regards,
John

PS -- I think this would also be a great time to congratulate all of the rest of the Linux regulars for a job well done. Without your dedication to turning this part of the forums around, very few people would be celebrating hats of any kind.

Nice work, group!!

Re: New King of Linux

Thanks once again for the greetings from my HP-UX colleagues.

Real life is tolerable. Trying to get some web design work done. I'm not terribly good at that. I need people to host with me, not make me do the site.

My two children and wife are healthy and happy. The cd player in the truck is fixed so the next road trip with the kiddies will be tolerable.

Stuart, zero point this please.

Had a really good Thursday on this forum.

Re: New King of Linux

Helping out a guy in GNU and scoring points solely on that is a great achievement. I would rate an Olympian in GNU/Linux higher than a guy who has come this way via the other channels. Share your software and make it better!
