New scanners that work in linux

Are there any new HP scanners
that work in linux/SANE?

Do any of the new scanners use HP's SCL (Scanner Control
Language)

I have herd rummers about the
OfficeJet G series printer scanner uses the SCL.
Does the new OfficeJet G series?

I don't know what are your real needs, but I would recommend you to use the USB Epson Perfection 640U. It's fully supported by SANE, as Epson provided to the SANE Team all the technical information neccessary to write the driver. I personally use this scanner and it works flawlessly.
