nfs problem

Hi,
In server,I exported one directory with options rw and sync .But in client I am able to mount the directory with read only mode .
what might be the problem.

please post the /etc/exports file or at least check it.

Also, on the server

exportfs -av

Provides diagnostics on possible configuration conflicts.

Hi manu,

Did the directory what nfs was exported have right permission for allow user(nobody) what nfs were used can write in local system? You should ensure that user can write in the nfs exported directory under local system.
