OSEM -> ISEE Client communication
i have the following config:
RH ES3
- Insight Agents
- ISEE Client
W2k
- SPOP
- OSEM
now as far as i understand the flow is as follows:
1) insight agents send snmp traps to the OSEM
2) OSEM filters relevant traps and then sends the events to the ISEE Client
3) the ISEE Client then sends the event via the SPOP to HP
since i am running the OSEM/SPOP in a DMZ, meaning that the ISEE Clients are separated through a firewall i have some problems to get the thing working.
couls someone exactely specify what the protocol and TCP/UDP ports are beeing used for 2) above(OSEM -> ISEE).
for 1) and 3) i found the information in the HP documentation (e.g. udp/162 and tcp/80) but not for 2).
BR,
Marc
