Can anyone give me ome help on this? We moved ome PCs to a new office. All i well except when trying to open Outlook, this message appears: "The file C:\documents and settings\application data\microsoft\outlook\outlook.pst cannot be found. Create\open peronal folder file." I have not worked in Outlook for a couple of year and lost my instructions as to how to do this. Thanks in advance.

Love Balaji's answer, perfectly m$ like, correct and so on...
Your system is trying to get your personnal outlook file, and can't find it, reasons may be that you backed it up sometimes and didn't bring it back.
Try start/find '*.pst' and see if you cant get it somewhere, it should be in a documents and settings subfolder.
If you don't, just try to re-install outlook, it'll recreate the missing file... or switch to Linux !

...switch to Linux
And use Ximian Evolution (if you work with Exchange Server etc).

And the answer is ....

switch to Linux, and if you do no want a corrupted graphical interface, switch to pine too. No more problems with .pst or something else. :-)

Linux?. Yes, of course.

BTW: you may need to show hidden files and folders (Control Panel > Folder options > View Tab), for the *.pst search to turn up results.

If you don't end up finding the pst and you don't need any of the data it contains Outlook will create a new pst for you without reinstalling the program. Notice that when you open outlook you are prompted with a window titled Create\Open, simply click OK to create a new outlook.pst in the default directory.
