Packages cluster suite 5.7

Hi,

I like to install cluster suite on RHEL 5.7.

I have two servers with RHEL5.7. This servers dont have access to RHN. I have to install cluster suite since DVD.

In DVD pack I have two folders, Cluster and ClusterStorage. I like to install it but I dont know wihich packages.

Anyone know tell me what packages to install?

Hi,

You can install the default packages from "Cluster".

Below are the default packages:

Default Packages:
   Cluster_Administration-en-US
   cluster-cim
   cluster-snmp
   clustermon
   conga-devel
   ipvsadm
   luci
   modcluster
   piranha
   rgmanager
   ricci
   ricci-modcluster
   system-config-cluster

This folder has packages which you require for configuring the cluster and for other cluster activities.

Where as below are the default and optional packages from "Cluster Storage"

Default Packages:
   Global_File_System-en-US
   gfs
   gfs-utils
   gnbd
   kmod-gfs
   kmod-gfs-kdump
   kmod-gnbd
   kmod-gnbd-kdump
   lvm2-cluster
Optional Packages:
   kmod-gfs-PAE
   kmod-gfs-xen
   kmod-gnbd-PAE
   kmod-gnbd-xen

If you want to have shared storage devices, you will need these packages form Cluster Storage folder.
