I have RedHat ES 3 (update 5) running on a proliant dl385. I had my NIC's bonded fine following the instructions in the doco. I installed the latest smartstart (7.30) and now the channel bonding no longer works. I have had to remove it, configure one NIC, and leave the other one inactive.
Does anyone know how to get the bonding working again ?
Thanks
Brett

Solution
Hi Brett,
Have you checked the release notes of the new channel bonding driver ? The new NIC driver ?
The bonding driver included in SmartStart 7.30 is 1.0.4T-1 :

Try to make sure that it has successfully been recompiled when installing the SmartStart. Also, check the module information :
modinfo bonding
Good lcuk.
