Problems installing Fedora Core 1 on HP ML370 G3

I'm having a problem of installing Fedora Core 1 on my HP ML370 G3 server. I've checked the support drivers page on HP, but it only has support driver up till Redhat 9.0. I've tried using those drivers, but it doesn't recognise them.
The problem I have is, whenever I try to install Fedora, it would not recognise the SCSI Array.
for Redhat 9.0, I would normally run "linux updates dd" and during installation, it would detect the drivers from the floppy. But it doesn't seem to happen with Fedora.
I've read some of the threads, and they asked me to try disable the logical array, but even that doesn't work.
Hope you could explain how I could resolve this issue, or how to obtain the latest drivers?

Regards,
Joe

Re: Problems installing Fedora Core 1 on HP ML370 G3

Hey Nick,

I've tried using the HP SmartStart CD Release 6.30 that comes with the HP ML370. It doesn't support Linux installations. In order to install Linux, I need to reboot to RSBU, change the OS type to Linux, but if i do that, I would be unable to install Linux using the Smartstart CD as it is not supported.
Any other way anyone of you guys can recommend? I know there is a way, as I've seen some forums talking about it.
Hope you can help.

Re: Problems installing Fedora Core 1 on HP ML370 G3

I've checked high and low for the solution, but there never seems to be one. It seems that Fedora Core 1 doesn't seem to recognise the Compaq Array device. I've downloaded Fedora Core 3, and installed that instead. FC3 on HP ML370 G3 is a breeze, as it seems to auto-detect the array device without any drivers.
