problems installing RH 8.0 on Proliant 1850R

I have Redhat 7.3 installed on a Proliant 1850R but when trying to install 8.0 it hangs after probing for the monitor. I believe it is attempting to probe the serial ports but I can't find any information....any ideas?

Hello,

Try text-only installation. When the system is up and running, you will be able to diagnose the pb.

try booting with the option "nousb".. that solved the problem for me.
